Los Angeles: LA Galaxy manager Bruce Arena believes his side have a good chance of keeping David Beckham as he is happy at the club.

The former England captain has been linked with moves to Tottenham, Paris St Germain, QPR and Leicester when his deal expires next month at the end of the MLS season.

It has been expected that Beckham would move back to Europe, but Goal.com understands that the former Manchester United hero is in no rush to make up his mind and will wait until closer to the new year before deciding on what his likely to be his final playing contract in professional football.

Former US national team coach Arena is hopeful that the ex-England captain will stay put in the Californian city, despite strong interest from Europe.

Arena said: "David likes LA, he knows where he is at this point in his career and I think the chances are 50-50."

"Once the season is over, we'll both be in a position to try to extend the relationship."

The 36-year-old midfielder has enjoyed a good season with the Los Angeles outfit, having made 15 assists, his record total since his arrival, in 25 appearances.

During breaks between MLS seasons he has trained with Arsenal and Tottenham and undertaken two loan spells with AC Milan, and he is understood to be targeting a place in the Great Britain team for the London 2012 Olympics.
