Celebrate and focus on the final: Suarez
On Sunday, the boys in sky blue can become the most successful nation in the history of the competition.

La Plata: Uruguay are back in the Copa America final for the first time since 1999 after beating Peru 2-0 in the semi-final in La Plata.

Luis Suarez scored two goals in a five-minute span early in the second half to earn the victory for the 14-time champions. And the Liverpool striker was delighted to have put his country into the showpiece final of South America's major international tournament.

"It's an extra plus to play the final in Argentina," Suarez told Argentine TV station Telefe at the end of the game. "It's really nice. Now we have to enjoy, celebrate and focus on the objective, which is the final."

Suarez then revealed that his side had to adopt a different strategy to the approach they took against Argentina in the quarter-finals.

"I think we knew Argentina were going to attack us. But today, we had to come out, play and attack," the star striker said. "In the second half, we were convincing in the beginning, and that gave us the win."

On Sunday, the boys in sky blue can become the most successful nation in the history of the competition. Tied with Argentina with 14 Copa America titles, Uruguay can claim a record 15th if they beat either Paraguay or Venezuela in the final.
