Former Real Madrid striker Joselu joins Hannover

Germany: Hannover have signed former Real Madrid striker Joselu from Bundesliga rival Hoffenheim.

Hannover say in a statement that the 24-year-old Joselu, who spent the past season on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt, signed a deal through June 2018.

Joselu scored 14 goals in 33 games in all competitions for Frankfurt. He scored five goals and set up two more in 25 Bundesliga games for Hoffenheim after switching from Madrid in 2012.

Joselu says, "I'll be part of a team that wants to play attractive football and is hungry for success. I want to pay back for my happiness with goals."
