Milan: AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is happy at the Serie A club and is not planning to quit, said the player's agent.

It has been feared Ibrahimovic is on the verge of leaving Milan after the Sweden international said last week that he is not enjoying his football as much as previously and claimed he wants to retire while still at his best.

"All this talk is giving me a headache," said Ibrahimovic's agent Mino Raiola. "I only know that Zlatan expressed some ideas about how he was feeling certain things but he never thought about being in a crisis with Milan."

Ibrahimovic returned from international duty early last week because he was suspended for his country's final European Championship qualification match against the Netherlands.

Sweden wanted to keep Ibrahimovic with the squad to boost team spirit, but Milan refused the request.

However, Raiola insisted that did not upset Ibrahimovic further.

"He's not at all in crisis with Milan. So much so that he happily accepted to come back early from the national camp," said Raiola.

"It's true that he was disqualified and Milan had the right to ask for him to return, but he didn't feel forced to. And that's even with the game against the Netherlands being a European qualifier and him the captain of the Swedish team."

Ibrahimovic, who helped his team win the Serie A title last season, is in his second year with Milan and still has three years left on his contract.

Meanwhile, AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri says the struggling Serie A champions are not in crisis, and believes the team will quickly get back to winning ways.

Milan had just five points after as many games at the start of this season, with just one victory.

Allegri says "it's not as if we're at a funeral" and adds that in a month's time "we might even be first in the standings and everything will be forgotten."
