Klagenfurt, Austria: Damien Perquis scored his first international goal on Saturday to give Poland a 1-0 win over Slovakia in the co-host's second warm-up match before the European Championship.

The Sochaux defender's header from a cross by Lukasz Piszczek found the net after half an hour, earning Poland a second straight 1-0 victory after their win over Latvia on Tuesday.

"We played well but we aren't yet where we want to be," Perquis told Polish television after the game in Klagenfurt, Austria.

Poland coach Franciszek Smuda made seven changes to the side, most notably to include Dortmund trio Lukas Piszczek, Jakub Blaszczykowski and Robert Lewandowski, before he names his final 23-man squad for next month's tournament on Sunday.

Midfielder Maciej Rybus failed to double the score just before half-time when his shot hit the post after a pass by Rafal Murawski.

Poland missed fluency and lacked attacking power in the second half after Smuda substituted six players.

Poland play Andorra in a friendly on June 2 in Warsaw before opening Euro 2012 against Greece in the same stadium six days later.

Smuda was forced into one late decision after his number two goalkeeper, Lukasz Fabianski, was ruled out of the European Championship through injury.

Fabianksi, the Arsenal reserve, hurt his shoulder in training at Poland's pre-tournament camp in Austria.

"I picked up the same injury in very similar circumstances the first time at Arsenal [in January 2011]," Fabianksi was quoted as saying on UEFA's website. "It is the same shoulder. I will undergo some more medical tests next week and hope to hear some good news. I am only hoping that surgery won't be necessary."

Poland have called up Grzegorz Sandomierski as Fabianski's replacement.
