Manchester: Carlos Tevez will not be appealing Manchester City's two-week fine for misconduct after he refused to warm-up during the club's Champions League match at Bayern Munich.
Tevez provoked a scandal when Mancini believed he refused to come on as a substitute during City's 2-0 loss in Germany.
Tevez has insisted he was misunderstood and never refused to play.
The Argentina international had originally been given a four-week fine before the Professional Footballers' Association backed the striker, claiming the situation was not the same as refusing to play.
Roberto Mancini recently offered Tevez a way back into the team, claiming he could stop training alone if he apologised for his behaviour, but no response from the 27-year-old has been issued.
Tevez has not featured in City's first team since the incident at the Allianz Arena in September, but strong performances from Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzeko and Mario Balotelli have seen Mancini's men emerge as the Premier League's pacesetters.
