However, to make this occasion even more special, the duo is getting ready to go down the aisle again. Reportedly, the pair is expected to reaffirm their vows in Lake Como, Italy. Chrissy Teigen and John Legend met on the set of a music video in 2006, and since then, they have built a spectacular life together. The anniversary event is expected to be grand and star-studded as well.
According to a report by TMZ, the pair will repeat their vows at the same venue where they first married 10 years ago. Reportedly, the two have invited several A-list celebrities to join the camaraderie, although it is unknown which of them has sent in their RSVP. According to the portal, the vow renewal ceremony will take place on Saturday, followed by a pool party on Sunday. The guests also enjoyed a cocktail party on Friday. Further, the vow renewal celebration is reportedly being held at Passalacqua Villa.
The report stated that Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have no gift registry for the event but visitors will spend a lot getting to and lodging at the special location. Reportedly, rooms in the vicinity cost roughly $6k per night.
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend first met on the shoot of the latter’s 2006 music video, Stereo. In 2011, the couple got engaged after dating for about four years. Reportedly, the duo faced a brief separation in 2007 as Chrissy Teigen travelled with John Legend on his Once Again Tour. They soon patched up later that year. John released All of Me which was dedicated to Chrissy in 2013. Speaking about the song, Chrissy Teigen told HuffPost, “I did cry when I heard it. I’m emotional, but like I don’t really cry at things like that, so yeah, it was beautiful. And live it’s pretty unreal.”
In 2013, the duo got married in Italy. Prior to that, they also had a courthouse wedding in New York City. They gave birth to their daughter Luna in April 2016 and their son Miles in May 2018. Reportedly, she suffered a miscarriage in October 2020. Later in January 2023, she gave birth to their daughter Esti, and five months later, they announced the birth of their son Wren via surrogacy.
