2 Simple Ways to Install and Download the Uber App

• On iOS, open the App Store. Enter "Uber" in the search bar and tap the app page. Tap "Get" to download the app.
• On Android, open the Google Play Store. Search for "Uber" and tap the app page. Tap "INSTALL" to download.
• You must have an account and a valid payment method to use Uber services.

Using iPhone or iPad

Open the App Store iPhone App Store Icon. This looks like a white A with a blue background. You can usually find this on your home screen or in the App Library. Be sure to update your device to the latest version.

Tap Search. This will be in the bottom-right corner.

Enter Uber in the search bar and tap search. If you want to become an Uber driver, you'll need to download the Uber - Driver app instead.

Tap Uber. You'll be redirected to Uber's app page.

Tap Get. This is the blue button below the app name. If you downloaded this app previously or on another device, you'll see a cloud with an arrow icon instead.

Confirm your download. Depending on your device, you may need to provide your Touch ID, Face ID, or Apple ID password. Uber will begin downloading. The Get button will turn into a progress meter. When your download is finished, you'll see OPEN.

Launch the Uber app. Tap OPEN to quickly open the app from the App Store. You can also find and tap the app on your home screen. You can now use Uber to request rides and more.

Using Android

Open the Google Play Store Android Google Play. This looks like a multicolored triangle with a white background.

Tap the search bar. You can find this at the top of the screen.

Enter Uber in the search bar. Apps will load below. If you want to become an Uber driver, you'll need to download the Uber - Driver app instead.

Tap Uber. You'll be redirected to Uber's app page.

Tap INSTALL. This is at the top-right of the page. Uber will begin downloading. If prompted, tap ACCEPT to initiate the download.

Launch the Uber app. Tap OPEN to quickly open the app from the Google Play Store. You can also find and tap the app in your app drawer. You can now use Uber.
