Ways to Get Free Dress to Impress VIP
Social media giveaways If you follow some Dress to Impress content creators on social media (such as YouTube and Twitter/X), you might score VIP in one of their giveaways. Many DTI content creators will do giveaways within their communities—they will usually ask you to subscribe, leave a comment, and/or join their Roblox group. Don't subscribe to someone just to get free VIP. It's best to only subscribe to a content creator that you actually enjoy watching!
Official Dress to Impress Discord If you're old enough to have a Discord account, join the official Dress to Impress Discord. There are two ways you can win free VIP through Discord: giveaways and events. Every so often, the DTI devs will hold giveaways in the official DTI Discord. These giveaways aren't always for free VIP, but VIP is one of the potential prizes you can win! The DTI devs will also host various events in the Discord server. If you participate, you might win free VIP. Just like the giveaways, the devs won't always give out free VIP as a prize for events, but it does happen from time to time. DTI Developer livestreams Sometimes, the DTI developers will host livestreams where they give away free VIP. This doesn't happen as often these days, but it does happen sometimes! If you are old enough to have a Twitch account, follow the DTI devs' accounts so you get notified when they go live.
Completing challenges from other players Sometimes, players in a DTI lobby will put a message out in chat saying that the first person to find them will get free VIP. While this doesn't always work, sometimes you will come across someone who is actually giving out VIP and wants to make it a challenge. If you are the lucky person to find the player, they might gift you VIP.
Gifts from other players Sometimes, other players will randomly gift VIP. They might gift VIP to someone who is consistently making awesome outfits (even without VIP) or someone who is being kind. Put your best foot—and outfits—forward and you might just be the recipient of some free VIP!
Ask your parents/guardians Remember to ask nicely, and be prepared to explain what DTI is and why you want VIP. You might need to make a deal with your parents by offering to do extra chores, babysit, or help them out in some other way. If you end up making a deal, don't slack, and do whatever it is you promised you'd do. This will show your parents that you are responsible and that you'll follow through on your promises. If your parents/guardians say no, don't pester them—even if you don't understand why they said no, continuing to beg for VIP won't change their mind. You can try asking again later (especially if you offer to do something in exchange for getting VIP), or ask for VIP for a holiday or birthday gift.
Things to Avoid
Begging/spamming Don't beg or spam the chat asking for free VIP. This never works, and you're likely to just annoy the other players. If someone says they won't give you free VIP, it's best to just drop it and leave it alone.
Making up a fake story While it might seem tempting to make up a sad story to convince other people to give you free VIP, most players will be able to tell the story is fake. If you're entering a giveaway, just be honest about why you want VIP.
Being rude Don't be mean to other players. You never know if someone in your lobby is waiting to give out free VIP, and they're not going to give it to someone who is putting other people down or bullying them.
Scams If someone is asking you to give them something in exchange for VIP (like Robux, your Roblox password, or something else), it's a scam. VIP can be gifted within the game and doesn't require any personal information. Anyone trying to convince you to give out your info for VIP is dangerous, and they should be avoided and reported immediately.
Can you glitch into the VIP room?
Yes, but you can't use anything in the VIP room if you do. It's possible to glitch into the VIP room, but once you do, you won't be able to use any of the items. If you try to pick them up, you'll get prompted to pay for VIP with Robux. However, you can still glitch into the room to look around or to take photos. There are a few ways to do this, but these glitches often get fixed, so these methods might not work forever. In freeplay mode, go outside the building and immediately turn left. Jump on top of the bushes, then jump onto the roof of the building. You can then walk across the top of the building until you're over the VIP room. Jump into the arched roof and you'll fall into the VIP room. In a regular game, go to the VIP entrance. Turn left and walk into the corner (made by the wall that the VIP door is on and the adjacent wall). Use the fainting pose from the troll pose pack (which costs 2,900 DTI cash). After a few tries, you will get pushed inside the VIP room. Note: if you use this method, you won't be able to leave the VIP room. Only go in if you're done making your outfit.
