Install the Wheel of Fortune app on your Android, iPhone, or iPad. You can download Wheel of Fortune for free from the App Store (iPhone & iPad) or Play Store (Android). The app developer is Scopely, and the game should have the Wheel of Fortune logo as the app icon. Be sure to avoid downloading a fake or knock-off version. The official app from Scopely should be completely free. Once downloaded, tap Open to launch the app, or tap the new Wheel of Fortune icon on your Home screen. You may have to grant the app a few permissions before you can get started. The first time you open the app, you will be put directly into a tutorial. Complete the tutorial by solving the puzzle and learning how the interface works.
Tap the green Play button. This costs you one ticket, and you will be matched with contestants that play along with you. Make sure you have an internet connection. You need one to start a game. You are given 5 tickets to start and get one ticket back every fifteen minutes. You can also purchase more if you would like.
Spin the wheel. Tap on the Spin button ???? to spin the Wheel of Fortune. Then drag the wheel in either direction or tap Spin again.
Guess a consonant. If a consonant was already guessed, then the letter will be grayed out. Always start with letters like R, S, T, L, or N. if you think you know a word, you can guess specific consonants to confirm your guess.
Buy a vowel. You can only do this if there are still vowels left in the puzzle. It costs about $250 to guess a vowel. Tap on the vowel icon (A) to do so. The price to buy a vowel will be listed under each letter.
Pass. You can always pass if you do not want to take your turn. Your turn will also automatically pass if you spin "Bankrupt" or "Lose a Turn", guess a letter incorrectly, solve the puzzle incorrectly, or run out of time on the clock. You should avoid voluntarily passing unless you are absolutely uncertain of what to guess.
Solve. If you think you know the puzzle, then tap on the "Solve" button ???? to solve the puzzle.
Play the bonus round. Guess three consonants and a vowel. Upon doing so, you will see them appear on the screen. Then solve the puzzle within a minute. You have to win the main round to play the bonus round unless you want to spend your in-game diamonds to gain access.
Collect souvenirs. These can be used to advance to the next location and earn gems, which can be used in tournament gameplay. You have to win the bonus round to get a prize box with souvenirs.
