It takes so long to hatch an egg in your Pokémon Diamond/Pearl game! What do you do? Go to wikiHow, of course!
Go to the Day Care (In Solaceon Town) and select an egg if the Day-Care Man has any. If not, get one out of your PC.
Grab a Pokémon that has the ability "Flame Body" or "Magma Armor".
Walk around until the egg hatches. It should take about 2-6 thousand steps.
