How to Do the Google Gravity Trick in Your Browser
Do you want to trick your friends with a Google search page that falls like gravity? Google Gravity is one of many fun "Easter eggs" hidden in the Google search engine, along with many other games, pranks, and effects. To use Google Gravity, start by visiting the Google homepage in a web browser. Type “Google Gravity” in the search bar, then click on “I'm Feeling Lucky” to load the Google Gravity page. While this trick was first introduced way back in 2009, it's still a good one!
Things You Should Know
  • To get to Google Gravity on your phone or computer, just search "Google Gravity" and click or tap "I'm Feeling Lucky."
  • If you see a list of search results, click the "Mr. Doob" search result.
  • There are plenty of tricks you can do with Google Chrome like playing games or doing a barrel roll.

Open a JavaScript-enabled web browser. Launch a browser like Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox, which all support JavaScript. You can even use the browser on your phone! If you disabled JavaScript in your browser, you'll need to enable it to use Google Gravity and other Google games and Easter eggs.

Go to https://www.google.com in your browser. You'll need to be on the main Google search page to play with Gravity.

Type google gravity into the search bar and click I'm Feeling Lucky. The "I'm Feeling Lucky" button, which is just below the search field, takes you directly to the Gravity version of the Google search page. At first, the search page will look normal! But once you move your mouse, the buttons, menus, images, and other elements on the page will fall to the bottom, mimicking gravity. If you don’t see the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button, you can just press Enter and then click the top search result (the Mr. Doob site).

What's your reaction?
