New Delhi: In connection with disappearance of a carpenter, hailing from Larnoo village in Anantnag district in Srinagar last month, Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested two of its personnel and attached two more officers.
On December 8, carpenter Abdul Rehman Paddar had gone missing from Batamaloo area of Srinagar and a report was lodged at Batamaloo police station here on January 23 for regular investigation.
Assistant sub-inspector Farooq Ahmed Gudoo and selection grade constable Farooq Ahmed Paddar have been arrested in the Abdul Rehman Paddar missing case.
Two more officers, SSP of Ganderbal H S Parihar and DSP Bahadur Ram, have been attached with the IGP Kashmir Range pending the outcome of the investigation to be carried out by Deputy Inspector General of Srinagar Farooq Ahmad.
The police link in the disappearance was established by the mobile phone Paddar was carrying with him when he went missing.
