"She was strangulated with her dupatta. The body also bore knife wounds," they said, adding that, "There was blood on the spot which means that she was murdered there only."
"Her clothes were not in proper order, so we suspect that she was raped before the murder. But this will be confirmed only after post mortem report," they added. To establish the identity of the victim, we are enquiring about all missing women in and around the area, police said.
