Pathankot: Even after 72 hours, there is still no clarity on whether the Pathankot operation is over. The combing operations continue at the Air Force base on Tuesday morning even as there has been no overnight firing.

A fifth terrorist was neutralised on Monday but it's still unclear whether more terrorists are holed up inside the Airbase. The National Security Guard has said that the combing and search operations will continue till the Airbase is found to be safe.

Meanwhile, the government has rejected as 'deflectionary tactic' the claim by Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK)-based terror group 'United Jihad Council that it is responsible for the attack. Government sources said there is proof that nails Jaish-e-Mohammed's role in the attack.

As per exclusive information, the terrorists who attacked the Pathankot airbase and held siege for more than 60 hours, acted at the behest of their handlers.

Maulana Ashfaq Ahmed, single-handedly revived the terror group JeM after it was banned in 2001. He stayed under the radar for 10 years. He is also the main fundraiser for Jaish & Al-Rehmat Trust.

He raised millions of dollars for Al-Rehmat from within Pakistan and the Middle-East.

Hafiz Abdul Shakur and Kaasim Jaan were responsible for handling logistics for terrorists. They arranged camps in PoK in the first week of December and coordinated with ISI agents. They also briefed the two modules about the task.

They are said to have facilitated movement of terrorists to the Pakistan side of the border and sent the two groups in Toyota Land Cruiser and Mitsubishi Pajero cars.
