Eight women employees of a pharmaceutical company at Pitchaveeranpet near here were hospitalised after they developed nausea and giddiness following inhalation of gas in the factory.
According to police, while the women were working inside the Dr Milton Pharmaceutical Factory, inhaled the gas when the lid of the container of methyine chloride in concentrated form got accidentally opened and spilled out. As soon as they showed signs of fainting, they were rushed to a private hospital nearby. They are out of danger, and have been kept under observation, police added.
