A R Rahman lends his voice for Dhanush's 'Mariyaan'

For all the impatient AR Rahman fans, here's some more than-good news. The Mozart of Madras has rendered his voice for a song in the upcoming movie 'Mariyaan'. The track is said to be a happy celebration sort of song, in the country genre, along the lines of 'Elay Keechan' of ManiRatnam's 'Kadal'.

The song has been penned down by Dhanush himself. The good news doesn't end there. We hear that the album is a surprise package that has a never-before element.

The album will be available for the eager ears soon. Directed by Bharat Bala,'Mariyaan' is a movie on survival, starring Dhanush.

Parvathi Menon plays the lead lady in the film that comprises multiple emotions, on the script of a young man being abducted to the crude conditions of Namibia, and his fight for survival. The team will have their audio launch soon.
