AAJ KA PANCHANG, 13 MAY, 2024: The Shashthi Tithi and Saptami Tithi of Shukla Paksha are scheduled to occur on Monday, May 13, according to Drik Panchang. On this day, the sacred festival of Skanda Sashti will be observed.

Skanda is a famous Hindu deity among Tamil Hindus. Lord Skanda is the son of God Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Skanda is regarded as Lord Ganesha’s younger brother in South India but as Lord Ganesha’s elder brother in North India. Skanda is also known by the names like – Murugan, Kartikeyan, and Subramanya.

The sun is anticipated to rise around 5:31 AM and set around 7:04 PM. Meanwhile, the moon is predicted to rise at 9:54 AM and set at 12:21 AM (May 14).

TITHI, NAKSHATRA, AND RASHI DETAILS FOR MAY 13

The Shashthi Tithi is predicted to last till 2:50 AM, following which the Saptami Tithi will take its place. Following that, the inauspicious Punarvasu Nakshatra is expected to last till 11:23 AM, when the inauspicious Pushya Nakshatra will commence.
