Action against man for contempt of court

BANGALORE: The High Court directed the  Registrar to take action against a man who filed a memo stating that he will not get justice from the court. The judge said it amounts to contempt of court. Gopal Raj had filed a petition questioning the move of the Department of Land Records for allegedly not giving him any document when he filed an RTI application. When the matter came for hearing before Justice B S Patil, the petitioner filed a memo stating “I think I won’t get justice from this court.” Patil directed the High Court Registrar to take action against him as this amounts to contempt of court.
