Advani demands PM, Buta Singh?s resignation
The BJP president L. K. Advani has asked for the PM?s resignation on moral grounds for suspension of the Bihar Assembly.

Patna The BJP president L. K. Advani has asked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to step down from his post immediately, owning moral responsibility for the ?'unconstitutional? dissolution of the Bihar Assembly.

?President A. P. J. Abdul Kalam should also intervene in the situation arising out of the Supreme Court ruling holding the dissolution of the Bihar Assembly unconstitutional,?' he said.

Advani claimed that the Union Cabinet had ?'misled? President Kalam and got his signature on the recommendation letter when Kalam was on foreign tour.

Advani further said that free and fair elections could not be ensured in Bihar until Bihar governor Buta Singh was removed from his post saying, ?'Buta Singh was found guilty of violation of the poll code of conduct and even the Election Commission had taken note of this.?

He said that the Centre should recall the Governor without any further delay.

What's your reaction?
