The remote village Yerravaram of Suryapet district, Telangana has now turned into a spiritual place for the devotees of Bala Ugra Narasimha Swamy. Locals say that the Bala Ugra Narasimha Swamy has arrived in their Yerravaram village from heaven. As per reports, a woman first saw the Bala Ugra Narasimha Swamy in her dreams. She told her fellow villagers about the arrival of Swamy but none believed her.
Later, it was believed that Swamy possessed a Class 8 student and told the villagers that he had appeared in the Yerravaram village. He asked the village to dig a hole near the dam of the pond to find him. After digging a hole at the said location, the local people were shocked to discover the markings on the stone as the boy predicted. The locals started worshipping the shrine.
Devotees who come here say that their wishes have been fulfilled. Challenging science, the worshippers said that they had seen dumb people speaking after they visited the shrine. The couple who are unable to give birth to children reportedly gave birth to kids after worshipping at this shrine. The coconuts are tied here while asking the Bala Ugra Narasimha Swamy to fulfil their wishes.
As the temple is currently under construction, despite some inconvenience, the devotees visit the Lord with utmost devotion. Besides, the devotees say that Bala Ugra Narasimha imparts wisdom to them during their visit to the shrine.
As per a report of Zee News, the foundation stone of Bala Ugra Narasimha Swamy Temple was laid in March 2023. The temple was built with the donation of Rs 6 crore. The villagers reportedly said that every Friday the income of the Hundi is Rs 10 to 15 lakh. The priest of the temple said a total of Rs 80 lakh was collected in two months after the foundation stone was laid in March.
