Antil cleared off doping charges

New Delhi: Indian discuss thrower Seema Antil, who was reported to have tested positive for doping earlier during the Asian Games was cleared of the charges on Friday.

Seema, 23, who had returned to India after being charged with a dope offence, maintained her innocence and even the Indian Olympic Association had backed her from the day the news broke out.

She however, has opted not to participate in the Asian Games now after facing tumultuous times.

A fast-track panel formed by the Athlectics Federation of India found her "innocent" after the athlete was withdrawn from the Asian Games and was asked to return to India on Sunday.
