At least 12 people were feared dead following a wall collapse in Dholera village of Narnaul district in Haryana. Several people are also feared trapped under the debris.
As many as 100 people are believed to have been working at the under construction building. The injured were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital.
Pointing that further investigation would tell the real cause of the incident, Haryana Police Inspector General Mamta Singh said, "We have registered case under 337 and 304A. Further investigations will tell the real cause of the incident. There were large number of people working there, so the casualties are high."
While the rescue operations are underway, the death toll is expected to rise in the incident.
