Gurgaon: Post his stint in celebrity reality show 'Bigg Boss', Bangaldeshi model Asif Azim is eyeing a Bollywood move and hopes to land a film role soon.
"I have been in India for more than 10 years but I was travelling a lot so I did not get much time to think about films. I have learnt kick-boxing and horse-riding. My Hindi was not good at all and so I also took Hindi language classes.
I have also done a course in acting," Asif told PTI.
"I have been preparing. So far there has not been any offers. But I am hoping soon something may come my way," he added.
The 29-year-old model was all praises for 'Bigg Boss' host Salman Khan and said he learnt a lot from the Bollywood superstar during his many interactions with him on the show.
"I learnt a lot from Salman. He has been there in the film industry for many years, he has seen ups and downs and today he is the biggest superstar. I am lucky I got the opportunity to learn and interact with him," he said.
Asif made a comeback on the ramp at the ongoing Blenders Pride Fashion Tour and walked for designer JJ Valaya last night here.
"This is just my second show post 'Bigg Boss' and I am happy to come back to where I belong," the model said.
Dressed in a black velvet sherwani teamed with a white churidaar, Asif said he always feels like a Greek god in Valaya's creations.
