Mumbai: The results of the brain-mapping and polygraph (lie-detector) tests conducted on rape accused Abhishek Kasliwal have come out in favour of the prosecution.
The Mumbai Police had conducted the tests on March 19 at the Central Forensic Science Laboratory in Bangalore.
Kasliwal, son of Ambuj Kasliwal , the owner of Sri Ram Mills, has been accused of raping a 52-year-old woman on March 11 in his car in the Shri Ram Mills compound.
According to the complaint, the woman was waiting at the Prince of Wales Museum at Colaba in South Mumbai when a dark green Mercedes drew up before her.
Kasliwal, who was driving the car and was reportedly drunk, offered the woman a lift and instead took her to the mills compound in the Lower Parel area and raped her.
The victim, who had noted down the number of the car, later approached the Colaba police and lodged a complaint
Abhishek has been booked under Sections 325 (for causing grievous hurt) and 376 (for rape) under the Indian Penal Code and his Mercedes has been seized.

Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police on Friday confirmed that the 52-year-old rape victim had identified Kasliwal in an identification parade.
In her statement, the woman has said that she was raped four times and was badly assaulted. Her right hand was fractured and she had also suffered serious injuries.
