New Delhi: Two Trinamool Congress (TMC) activists were arrested on Sunday night in the Burdwan double murder case. CID is hopeful to soon crack the murder case of two CPI(M) leaders allegedly by a mob on February 22. The CID arrested Mantu Ghosh and Nabakumar Roy from the Mirzapur area of Burdwan, close to where the murders took place.
CID has taken up the case of the killing of former CPI(M) MLA Pradip Tah and senior party leader Kamal Gayen at Dewandihi in Burdwan town at the direction of the Calcutta High Court.
