Islamabad At least six people were killed and several others injured in two massive bomb explosions in Karachi, including one near an outlet of US fast food chain, Kentucky Fried Chicken.
The state-run PTV said that the two blasts were caused by car bombs, which went off in quick succession.
One exploded outside KFC, and the other went off between two of Karachi's main five-star hotels Pearl Continental and Sheraton.

The blasts caused massive damage and destruction.
While the KFC building was engulfed in fire, local TV channels showed footage of many cars burning.
Immediately after the explosion, ambulances rushed to evacuate people.
Pakistani security forces are trying to ascertain whether the blast was caused by a bomb placed in a car outside the building.
The police have cordoned off the area.
