Mumbai: CBI Joint Director Rishi Raj, who was handling Adarsh Housing scam, was on Thursday transferred from Anti-Corruption Branch to its Economic Offences Wing.

A 1985-batch IPS officer from Kerala cadre was transferred a day after the CBI filed chargesheet in the Adarsh Housing scam in which former Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan was among 13 named.

The CBI said that the transfers were a routine matter and Rishi Raj was shifted after he completed his tenure of four years.
