Champions Trophy venues decided
India have threatened to pull out of the ICC Champions Trophy from 2008 onwards and had been on a collision course with the ICC.

New Delhi: The Champions Trophy venues have been finally decided by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Cricket Club of India Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Mohali will be hosting the matches.

India, who have threatened to pull out of the International Cricket Council Champions Trophy from 2008 onwards, had been on a collision course with the ICC over this year's event to be held in October.

The bone of contention was the advertising revenue.

Also, the ICC had asked for a venue fee of $1 million for production costs, which has finally been brought to $2,00,000.
