New Delhi: Madhya Pradesh's new Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that he will constitute the state cabinet on Sunday.
More than two dozen ministers would be included in the cabinet, which would be constituted by maintaining a regional and caste balance.
"I have held consultations with the party's central leadership. And most probably, it (cabinet expansion) will be done tomorrow," he told reporters.
Chauhan was sworn-in as the CM on Tuesday
The newly-sworn in Madhya Pradesh CM has been holding meetings with key BJP members for the past two days. These include former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, BJP chief L K Advani, party vice president Venkaiah Naidu and party general secretary in-charge of the state Arun Jaitley.
He also met RSS leaders at the organisation's headquarters in New Delhi.
"It will be a balanced ministry. All sections of society and regions of the state will be given representation," Chouhan said shortly before leaving for Bhopal.
