NALGONDA: The Lok Adalat at Suryapet on Saturday disposed of a 2-year-old case of accident involving the vehicle of film actor NT Rama Rao Jr following a compromise the accused reached with the prosecution.In the early hours of March 26, 2009, the speeding vehicle, in which the actor, his personal assistant Pathan Baba, actor Rajiv Kanakala and distributor Prasad were coming from Khammam after electioneering, overturned near the police station near Motey Crossroads.The actor and the others were injured in the accident. Motey sub-inspector of police Iqbal registered a suo motu case under Section 338 against driver Uday Kumar.Curious TDP activists and NTR fans, who gathered in strength at the munsif magistrate’s court on the outskirts of Suryapet on Saturday, heaved a sigh of relief over the disposal of the case.
