Madikeri: Sri Ram Sene chief Pramod Muthalik will be produced in the Virajpet court on Monday in connection with a case of delivering provocative speech at the Hindu Samajotsav in Madikeri in December 2003.
Muthalik, also an accused in the Mangalore pub attack case, was released on Saturday after being given a got conditional bail but was arrested immediately by a team of Madikeri police in the 2003 case.
The police team had been camping in Mangalore with an arrest warrant against the Sri Ram Sena chief since January 28.
Muthalik along with 27 other activists of the Sri Ram Sene were arrested in connection with assaulting women at the Amnesia Bar and Restaurant in Mangalore
All the 28 accused were granted bail by the Judicial Magistrate First Class II Court on January 31.
Meanwhile, the Central Government has sent a fact finding team to Mangalore to investigate the pub attack case.
Union Minister of Women and Child Development Renuka Chowdhury sent Joint Secretary (Women Bureau) of the Ministry Kiran Chadha and Undersecretary DV Rao
to inquire into January 24 attack on women at the pub.
The team visited the pub on Sunday and met several people, including officials and women. It will submit its report on Monday.
