CSL delivers another platform supply vessel

KOCHI: The Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) has delivered Braig Supplier, a  platform supply vessel built for Braig Supplier KS, Norway. This is the  second platform supply vessel delivered by the CSL this year.CSL technical director P Vinayakumar and John Nelson of the Braig Supplier  signed the documents.  The vessel, which has been certified ‘clean’ by the DNV (Det Norske  Veritas), is 86-metres long and 19-metres wide. It is propelled by two   contra-rotating propellers and has four 1665 KV generators. It also has  Grade-II dynamic positioning. The vessel also has a facility to accommodate 44 persons. The Cochin Shipyard Limited is also constructing two other platform supply vessels for a Norwegian company.
