Daring heist on running train

MULANTHURUTHY: The passengers of the Kochuveli Express from Bangalore to Thiruvananthapuram witnessed a daylight robbery here on Wednesday.
When the train reached the Mulanthuruthy station, three Malayali youths pulled the chain and jumped out of the train with a bag. They were followed by four youths hailing from Haryana. The train passengers who witnessed the incident thought that the four Haryana youths were thieves. So they chased the Haryana youths and questioned them. It was then that the passengers came to know that the bag owned by the Haryana youths was grabbed by three Malayali youths, who had first jumped out of the train and run away with the bag containing Rs 1 lakh. The Haryana youths were on their way to Thiruvananthapuram on a picnic. However, the passengers took the four Haryana youths to the Mulanthuruthy police station. The youths were identified as Jidh,28, Kulwanth,38, Pradeep,22, and Parveen,25. The police have started an investigation to trace the three Malayalis. FAC
