Death for killing 3 of family

KEONJHAR: A murder accused was on Saturday sentenced to death by District Session Judge Guruprasad Sahoo. According to prosecution, Suka Palei (55) of Bahliadihi under Nayakote police limits had murdered his neighbour Sapana Dehury, his wife Fulamani and their son Ramesh in December 2009, on the suspicion of practising witchcraft. Nayakote police had arrested Suka and produced him in court. Suka, however, maintained that he was innocent and would appeal in the Orissa High Court.
