Duo Robbed of Valuables

BANGALORE: Two call centre employees were robbed of valuables by a gang of unidentified miscreants at Nanjappa Reddy Layout in Banasawadi on Thursday.Reportedly, one of the victim Liju, 28, along with his friend, Abhilash, was staying at a room. A man allegedly knocked on their door and Liju opened it assuming it to be their friends.Since the man spoke in Kannada, he went to wake up his friend, Abhilash.Meanwhile, three others entered the house and threatened the duo with knives and robbed them of five mobile phones, two gold rings, a camera, two debit cards and cash, total worth over Rs 35,000.Later a case was filed with Ramamurthynagar police.
