Essay competition for aspiring writers

HYDERABAD: The Consulate General of Islamic Republic of Iran Hyderabad is holding an essay writing competition on four languages in Urdu, English, Persian and Hindi. It is on the occasion of the 23 rd Commemoration Ceremony of Imam Khomeini (RA) the leader  and founder of Islamic Republic of Iran, which is coinciding this year with Birth Anniversary of Imam Ali (AS).The essay should reach the consulate general of Islamic Republic of Iran-Imam Kohomeni Road, Banjara Hills, before May 31. First prize is Rs 3,000, second Rs 2,000 and third prize Rs 1,000 with both the categories along with five consolation prizes as certificates.The topics/subjects  for students below age 18 year:Importance of Islamic Unity in practical behaviour of Imam Ali and  Imam Khomeini’s thought. Review of Imam Ali’s conduct in the thought of  Imam Khomeini. Imam And social Justice.The topics/subjects fro all groups: Ethics and politics in Holy Quran along with an approach to  government of Imam Ali. Human rights in Islam from Imam Ali’s point of  view.
