Concerned over frequent power failures in Jharkhand, Governor Syed Ahmed on Saturday asked Jharkhand State Electricity Board (JSEB) to work more in providing the basic amenity to the people. He said JSEB and the state energy department should also show commitment and seriousness in plugging all the gaps to provide uninterrupted power supply to the people, official sources said in Ranchi.

The governor's directive came when he chaired a meeting attended by energy department secretary, the JSEB chairman and other senior officials.
