Hardcore Maoist arrested by joint security forces in Munger

A hardcore Maoist has been arrested from a village in Munger district of Bihar, police said.

Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of STF (Special Task Force) and CRPF raided Sonebarsa village and arrested a hardcore ultra Bhim Turi from a house, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Sanjay Kumar Singh, said.

Turi was involved in several offences committed by the Maoists, the ASP said.
