HP launches the world's fastest desktop printer

New Delhi: Hewlett-Packard launched the HP Officejet Pro X series and the HP Officejet Pro 3610/3620 Black and White series in India.

The HP Officejet Pro X500 series is claimed to be the world's fastest desktop printer. On the other hand, the company claims that the HP Officejet Pro 3610/3620 Black & White series offers laser-like quality and performance at very low running costs, comparable to laser toner refills.

The HP Officejet Pro X Series is priced between Rs 31,499 and Rs 50,499. The Officejet Pro Black & White series includes two models - the HP Officejet Pro 3610 Black and White is priced at MRP Rs 7,999 and the HP Officejet Pro 3620 Black costs Rs 11,999.

Powered by HP PageWide Technology, HP's Officejet Pro X Series is claimed to deliver professional documents at up to 70 pages per minute in General Office mode. They deliver high-quality documents at up to twice the speed and half the cost of colour lasers. These devices will address the needs of work-teams with up to 15 users printing up to approximately 4200 pages a month.

Compared with majority of black and white laser all-in-one printers in the same price range the new HP Officejet Pro 3610, 3620 Black & White e-All-in-One printers come with additional features such as auto-duplex printing, built-in Ethernet that enables Apple AirPrint on iPad, iPhone, iPod and the latest embedded printing on Samsumg GALAXY S 4 as well as HP ePrint.
