Illicit arms factory busted, pistols seized

An illicit arms factory was busted at a village in Munger district, police said on Wednesday.

Acting on a tip off, the police raided Garhorampur village on Tuesday night and busted an illicit arms factory operating from a house, the police said.

A large quantity of arms and ammunition comprising two pistols, 24 semi-processed pistols, 35 magazines, 22 barrel, 15 ammunition and two magazines were recovered from the spot, they said.

One Maso Chaudhary, who ran the illicit arms factory, escaped from the spot, the police said.
