Beijing: Trade officials from India and China on Tuesday met to discuss issues between the two countries relating to anti-dumping and trade disputes.
The Indian delegation headed by JS Dadoo, Joint Secretary, Commerce Ministry met with their Chinese counterparts here.
The talks were aimed at deepening interaction between the two countries on trade issues and discuss mechanisms to reduce trade disputes as the bilateral trade has touched about $74 billion last year.
This is the third round of the talks between the two countries in recent years to discuss range of trade related bilateral issues.
The talks focussed on anti-dumping measures, duties on various products and steps to avoid trade conflicts between the two countries and dispute resolution, Indian officials said.
India has initiated 149 anti-dumping cases against China, which account for over half of such actions taken by New Delhi against foreign countries.
At present, 77 anti-dumping measures are in force against China.
