KOCHI: Craft Hospital, a specialty infertility research and treatment centre, has launched an infertility money back scheme - IVF Suraksha. The scheme guarantees money back in case the treatment methods fail. Couples can take a membership of the scheme by paying Rs 2,50,000. Through the IVF Suraksha scheme, members will get two IVF - ICSI, three to five frozen embryo transfers, blastocyst transfer, assisted hatching and freezing of extra embryos. In case of failure of the treatment, the money deposited will be refunded.  However, there are some criteria for enrolling. Couples who have been tested positive in physical fitness test can pay the amount and become a member of the scheme. Based on this, they will get a guarantee certificate. After eleven weeks of conception, if the fetus is found to be normal and healthy, in the scanning and other tests, the scheme will come to an end.  “The national average of success rate in this field is 22 percentage. But, for the last three years we have been maintaining the rate between 50 percentage and 70 percentage,” said Dr Mohamed Ashraf.
