Raghuveer got in touch with Devika and then enticed her into putting her money into a game which promised quick returns.
A resident of the Vijay Nagar in Ghaziabad was on Thursday arrested for allegedly duping a woman of lakh of rupees after befriending her on a social networking site, police said.
According to police, the arrested person, identified as one Raghuveer Singh, had approached Devika, hailing from Gujarat on Facebook.
Raghuveer got in touch with Devika, an agent with an insurance company, and then enticed her into putting her money into a game which promised quick returns. Devika claimed in her complaint that she was duped to the tune of Rs 1.10 crore, police said.
