Intermediate student hangs self

HYDERABAD: An intermediate second year student hanged himself at his house in Kukatpally on Sunday night. According to police, S R Srikanth (19), hanged himself in his house at Sai Colony on Sunday night. Srikanth was not interested in studies and wanted to work. However, his parents wanted Srikanth to continue his studies further, police said. Kukatpally police registered a case and are investigating.
Security Guard's Body Found in MedchalA private security guard was found brutally murdered in Medchal on Monday. The deceased, Arogyam (66), was working as a security guard at a private place in Medchal. Police said Arogyam used to go to nearby forests for catching rabbits. He went into forest on Sunday and did not return. But, his body was found on Monday near Railway Colony. His head was smashed with boulders. Previous enmity might have led to the killing, police suspected.
