JD(U) student leader allegedly shot dead

A JD(U) student leader was shot dead allegedly by unidentified gunmen at a university campus in Muzaffarpur on Thursday evening, police sources said.

Shamim Khan (20) was shot dead by unidentified persons at BR Ambedkar University campus from close range near the examination department office, sources said.

After the incident the accused manged to escape while Khan died on the spot, they said.
