A Kashmiri doctor based in United Kingdom Dr Mohammad Shaheen Baba had earlier been arrested along with three others.
Srinagar: In night long raids, Jammu and Kashmir Police has arrested another person suspected of having links with a terror module.
A Kashmiri doctor based in United Kingdom Dr Mohammad Shaheen Baba had earlier been arrested along with three others. Dr Shaheen was allegedly planning to launch IED attacks in Srinagar. However, Shaheen's family claims he is innocent.
Police sources say in all 6 people have been arrested so far. Police claimed to have recovered a Chinese pistol and some ammunition too.
Three others who were arrested were relatives of the doctor, who is a non-resident Indian. He was arrested while being dropped at airport by his relatives.
The NRI doctor hails from Chadoora village of Budgam district in Jammu and Kashmir.
