Protesting against the state government for the three-month delay in counselling and not providing proper guidelines for the implementation of mandatory rural services to those completing PG and PG diploma medical courses, junior doctors of Osmania General Hospital staged a protest demonstration here on Saturday.

They took out effigies of health minister, DME and principal secretary of health on a donkey to express their ire over the government’s attitude.

Speaking to Express, a representative of junior doctors association Gopi Krishna said they had been staging protests against the lack of clarity in implementation of the programme since Monday.
