Jupally detained

HYDERABAD: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader and former minister Jupally Krishna Rao was taken into custody by the Mahaboobnagar police on Tuesday suspecting that he would obstruct the Rachabanda programme in Kolhapur.
Information minister DK Aruna was scheduled to participate in the Rachabanda programme there. As Krishna Rao and Aruna have differences, the police suspected that the Rachabanda programme would be disturbed. Sources said TRS leaders, TJAC activists and students were among those detained.
