HYDERABAD: Former minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy will go on indefinite hunger strike from November 1 at Nalgonda till the Centre announces formation of a separate state for Telangana region.According to Venkata Reddy, he is prepared to quit the Congress on the day the party high command makes it clear that it will not deliver Telangana. There is no question of staying in the Congress if it makes a categorical announcement that its preference is for a united Andhra Pradesh. The former minister said he would continue his fast till his death for the T cause and in such an event, chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy should take responsibility for it.He said had the Telangana ministers and Union minister S Jaipal Reddy had resigned, the Telangana state would have come into being long ago.The chief minister was sending reports to the Centre giving a distorted picture of the Telangana movement which probably made Prime Minister Manmohan Singh say that Telangana was not possible in the near future. He demanded that his resignation as an MLA be accepted forthwith as he had already quit his minister post.
